      Home / Our Services

We provide professional repair and servicing of mechanical clocks of all types. Whether your clock is an antique family heirloom or a decorative piece that’s stopped working, we approach every clock with care and respect for its design and history.

      Our goal is always to

      • Restore reliable operation
      • Prevent further wear
      • Respect the clock's age and originality

What a Full Mechanical Clock Service Includes

A full service addresses the internal condition of the movement and is the best way to restore long-term reliability.

A full service goes far beyond “just getting the clock running.” It is a detailed process designed to restore reliable operation and extend the life of the movement.

      Full Mechanical Service

A full service is recommended for clocks that:

      • Have stopped running
      • Have not been serviced in many years
      • Are running poorly or inconsistently
      • Show signs of excessive wear

      A typical full service includes

      • Complete disassembly of the clock movement and a thorough cleaning of all parts in a special clock cleaning solution
      • Inspection for wear or damage, including pivots, bushings, gears and springs
      • Repair or replacement of worn parts as needed
      • Proper reassembly and lubrication using clock-specific oils
      • Adjustment of timekeeping, strike, and chime functions
      • Testing and observation to ensure consistent operation

Before bringing your clock in, if possible, please bring

      The pendulum and any weights
(We do not need the key)
      Any known history or issues

If transporting a large clock (such as a grandfather clock) is difficult, please contact us to discuss options. We make service calls on grandfather clocks.

      A Note About Older Clocks
Many mechanical clocks are decades — or even centuries — old.
Wear, previous repairs, and long periods without service are common.
Not every clock can be made perfect, but many can be made dependable and enjoyable again.

      Routine Maintenance

Maintenance may be appropriate for clocks that are running but showing early signs of trouble.

      This may include:

      • Minor adjustments
      • Cleaning and oiling accessible components
      • Regulating timekeeping
      • Addressing small operational issues

** Maintenance does not involve full disassembly and is not a substitute for a complete overhaul. **

Because every clock is different, the exact work required can vary depending on the age, condition, and design of the movement.

We’re happy to help determine which level of service your clock needs.
